France's Current Role in West Africa

Here is a very good NYT article critical of France's recent dealings in the region.  The Republic of Congo was one of many French colonies in West Africa.


Here is a link to a video report on the investigation into the President of the Republic of Congo's wealth that is referenced in the above article.


And here is a report on the French court's decision to block the embezzlement probes.
